This course is designed for SIA licence renewal and is based on the SIA’s latest specifications for learning and qualifications.

Entry Requirements for Close Protection Top Up Training

To attend this Close Protection Top Up course, you must meet the following requirements:

• ✅ A valid 3-day Level 3 First Aid Certificate (e.g. FAAW, ECFR, FPOSi, FREC-3) with at least 12 months remaining before expiry.
• ✅ Completion of both Action Counters Terrorism Certificates (Blue and Red) (instructions provided in joining instructions).
• ✅ Must be 18 years or older.
• ✅ Meet SIA licence eligibility (check SIA Criminal Record Eligibility Checker).
