Michael Perridge FdSc
Director/ Chief InstructorMichael hails from a military background, prior to joining the security industry, serving in the British Army (Infantry). During his time in the military he served on multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, receiving a commendation for his actions during a hostile engagement. From here, Michael trained in the field of Close Protection with the world renowned Ronin South Africa where he first learnt his craft some 18 years ago.
Upon completing his close protection training Michael started his career in in the UK. Working with all types of clientele. Michael has provided personal protection to telecommunications engineers visiting some of the UK's most dangerous cities, business executives, politicians, and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. Michael has also operated as a team medic, and driver with his extensive medical training and driving experience. In addition to this, Michael has worked on some of the more larger personal security operations in the UK civilian sector for private individuals, at times running personal protection details in excess of 10 operatives for one individual.
In 2017 Michael set up Indrisec with two main goals. 1) Provide a service level that he felt was lacking among certain areas of the industry. 2) Set up a training company to try and improve standards within the industry.
Roy P.
Instructor/ Close Protection OperativeRoy's experience in close protection spans over 20 years, working in 38 countries, on every continent, bar Antarctica. Throughout Roy's career he has worked as an advance agent, detail leader, personal protection operative, personal escort team member, driver, medic and residential security team member. His main specialism has been the protection of business executives, but he has also worked with royalty, diplomats, politicians and celebrities.
His skills include advanced driving, remote medicine and first repsonder, and has a proven track record of high standards.
Over the years Roy has taught subjects such as leadership courses, team development, personal safety, breakaway and self defense, medical and first aid, and security.
Leigh P.
Instructor/ Close Protection OperativeLeigh has amassed over 22 years of continuous service in the private security industry, predominantly working in the close protection sector. Within that time Leigh has deployed on numerous operations as both Team Leader and Team Member. While Leigh has provided protection to business individuals , executives, and politicians, he has spent a lot of time providing protection to celebrities and the Hollywood A-Listers.
Leigh's skills include advanced driving (trained to ERDT level in the emergency services), advanced first aid/ medicine and conflict management and is a highly competent instructor also.
Over the years Leigh has taught Close Protection, Door Supervisor, Conflict Management, and Physical Intervention.
Tanith Perridge BSc
Course Administrator/ Close Protection OperativeTanith joined Indrisec in 2020 as a part time security operative, coming from a local authority background working in mental health. Qualifying as a door supervisor in 2020 Tanith has worked on our security projects as a ground level operative, providing security cover for our sites on a part time basis.
Tanith quickly excelled in this position and moved to a more prominent role within the organisation, and in 2022 Tanith joined Indrisec full time as operations manager for our operational division, and course administrator for our training academy. During this time, Tanith designed, planned, and implemented a 10 man team for a small festival local to our Headquarters.
In 2023 Tanith attending our close protection course receiving a distinction through her hard work and effort and to this day Tanith is still operationally deployed on jobs as and when they fit her schedule.
Tanith will normally be the main point of contact for all students attending our training.
